Kiertomaa
Kiertomaa is an in-house company jointly owned by Lounais-Suomen Jätehuolto and the City of Turku. It produces, processes, receives and supplies materials for land construction sites.
The goal of Kiertomaa is to develop regional soil recovery, promote the materialisation of circular economy in the field of land construction and, through its operations, to support the materialisation of the national waste plan. The resource-wise modes of operation are being developed together with regional stakeholders, such as municipalities, universities and businesses. In addition, Kiertomaa is participating in the national circular economy project, CIRCWASTE.
